Coverage: Therapy sessions may be covered under private insurance. Check with your insurance company for therapy services with a Registered Social Worker.
University students: If you have student insurance therapy services with a Registered Social Worker is included.
FNIHB: If you have treaty status you are able to access counseling through FNIHB. Please contact me for more information.
Everyone responds to counseling in a different way.
At Courageous Connections we offer a variety of different services to best suite your needs.
These session are offered in person and in office. In office sessions are available for people of all ages, families and parents.
Counseling sessions can be provided via zoom or telephone for those who require due to social distancing efforts or those who are in a remote community. These sessions are available for people of all ages, families and parents.
5 hours of in person therapy per month; which may include nature therapy, play therapy, connecting with community activities, and/or cultural connections. These sessions are available based on a monthly contract for children and youth; between the ages of 10 and 18.
Youth Night – Addictions Program
Due to COVID-19 Youth Night is currently postponed until we can safely meet as a group in person.
Youth Night is a 10-week program for youth between the ages of 16 and 20. This program offers the opportunity for youth to meet and get support from other youth, while learning about coping skills to manage their addictions and build lifelong supportive relationships.
Parenting During a Pandemic
Are you a parent or caregiver who is experiencing an increase in stress and anxiety??? With the new challenges and a lot of changes in our lives due to the pandemic it is understandable that you may be experiencing some added stress in your day to day life. It is important for parents to take care of their mental health; if you need some extra support in your parenting, coping skills and strategies for your kiddos I am offering sessions for parents to address pandemic related concerns.
